Little-Easter accepted to Clark Atlanta University

Clark Atlanta University (CAU), formed in 1988 as a result of the consolidation of two independent historically black institutions — Atlanta University (1865) and Clark College (1869), is a United Methodist Church-related, private, coeducational, residential, and comprehensive urban research university. The University, largest of the 39-member UNCF colleges, offers undergraduate, graduate and professional, and non-degree certificate programs.

CAU is classified by Carnegie as Research University/High Research Activity (RU/H) and is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB); the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GPSC); the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE); the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA); and the National Collegiate Athletic Association, Division II. CAU is approved for listing as United Methodist Church-affiliated University by the University Senate General Board of Higher Education and Ministry of the United Methodist Church.
