Everyone please congratulate Zackary on his acceptance to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  Encourage Zackary also as he anxiously awaits the results of the Teaching Fellows scholarship.   UNCG is a student-centered university. Congratulations Nader on your acceptance to UNC-Charlotte.  Now a research intensive university, UNC Charlotte is the fourth largest of the 16 institutions within the University of North Carolina system and the largest institution in the Charlotte region. The university comprises seven professional colleges and currently offers 18 doctoral programs, 62 master’s degree programs and 90 bachelor’s degrees.  More than 900 full-time faculty comprise the university’s academic departments and the 2007 fall enrollment exceeded 22,300 students.  UNC Charlotte boasts more than 75,000 living alumni and adds 4,000 to 4,500 new alumni each year.

UNCG is located in the dynamic city of Greensboro, North Carolina (population 250,000). Deron Dolphus accepted to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University!

Congratulations to Deron for his acceptance to the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University for the Fall 2010 semester!  "Ron" plans on pursuing Management in college.  The hard work does pay off.  Way to go Ron!

A Stallion goes to the University of South Carolina!

When you see Joseph Newton around campus, please congratulate him on his recent acceptance to the University of South Carolina - Columbia.  "Joey" was accepted into their College of Engineering and Computing to pursue a major in Chemical Engineering.  Way to go and congratulations on becoming a Gamecock!

Queens University of Charlotte accepts another Stallion

Brevard College representative comes to visit QGPHS

Central Piedmont Community College representative visits today.

Today, Tuesday, December 8, 2009, Mrs. Julie Grahl, the director of high school programs at Central Piedmont Community College, met with some of our juniors and seniors.  Mrs. Grahl discussed what is involved in applying to CPCC after high school and about concurrent/dual enrollment while still in high school.  The students had many great questions.  CPCC is a wonderful way to get started with a student's post-secondary education.  Please visit CPCC's website to learn more about their many programs.
